MUSIC ROARS THE NIGHT #17
Evening, fellow humans!
I know I’m lacking at updating MRTN but well as you can see, I’m currently trying to survive my senior year unscathed and it’s really hard to do so without staying away from the internet. Stop with the curhat, let’s get to the point.
Right now I’m so in the mood for some jazz and my favorite person in it is Jamie Cullum. Taken from his third album Twentysomething (2003), here’s Everlasting Love for your hearing pleasure.
From what I know, the song was recorded back in the 1967-ish by Robert Knight. The song itself has been remixed many times by many artists and so far, my favorite is Jamie Cullum’s version. I heard it in my car yesterday on my way back and damn, when traffic attacks, jazz helps.
Something I found in my notes. I have a few ideas about the one who wrote this but hey, I don’t care.

MUSIC ROARS THE NIGHT #15
Sorry for the delay, humans. I know this is morning and this is the day after tomorrow from my promise about special MRTN but damn tumblr it wouldn’t let me upload two songs in the same day and I just don’t like using externally hosted file.
The second song from MRTN Special: Christmas is Jimmy Eat World song calledLast Christmas! This is an old song, out from the studio about 2002 and there’s also an Ashley Tisdale’s version of this song. Laugh out loud. You got to hear both of it anyway cause actually it’s not that bad.
The song is catchy and fun to hear just like any other Jimmy Eat World’s song and by the way, they’re going to rock this Jakarta City onApril 3rd, 2011! Don’t miss ‘em fellow humans!

MUSIC ROARS THE NIGHT #14
Good night fellow humans, this is MRTN Special: Christmas! Yay! So what’s in my head is that I’m gonna post two songs about christmas. I know this is kind of late but I don’t care just ENJOY.
Tonight’s first song is Get Ready by The Maine! This version is the acoustic live one which I get illegally from YouTuBe because I just can’t get the recording version one. The song’s still nice though and guess what, I can play this on guitar, keyboard, and any other instrument! This song is not in any of their albums, it’s like a non-album songs so don’t try to search it.
By the way, I’m not going to write reviews about any songs on special edition. Everything I write would be seen from my point-of-view which I hope is everybody’s point-of-view too.

MUSIC ROARS THE NIGHT #13
Night humans, it’s another MRTN and reason why I posted this song is because I’ve always been annoyingly tired every December. My theory is that throughout the year I’ve been using too much energy that now it’s December, I can hardly do anything but sleep.
Tonight’s song called ‘Lullaby’ by Chase Coy and as I told you before, this song is damn good for every sleeper (is that a word? oh yeah it is). The song appeared on his EP, Dear Juliet. Chase Coy was once in a one man band called Dear Juliet but then he decided to use his own name, well, good thing. For a 20 years old musician, he is awesome, he is categorized as….something really really good on iTunes (which I forgot and too lazy to do a research). By the way, Dear Juliet EP came out on November 2007 and for the other EP you can check it yourself on his MySpace. Here.
So I’m gonna go back to sleep due to my yearly tiredness and people, stay funky not funked!
P.S. Message me for any request.

MUSIC ROARS THE NIGHT #12
Night fellow humans! Look I finally posted another MRTN and you’re going to be glad that I did cause this one song is just so damn wonderful!
This is Jamie Scott & The Town singing a song called ‘Changes’ which I think is super-duper good. The song appeared in his album on 2007 called Park Bench Theories and placed as Track 4. Jamie Scott signed a contract to a major label in 2002 and that means he was only 20 yet he’s so talented. He wrote lots of great acoustic songs and he also wrote musics for some other bigger musician like Enrique Iglesias (‘I Can Feel Your Heartbeat’ and ‘Coming Home’).
Unlike the usual, what I like from this song is not the lyrics, not that it was bad though, but the way he sings is just too amazing! He got an incredible voice and damn I feel like really flying when he said ‘man you’re flying’!
So people, enjoy this one and if you missed the other MRTN you can search it at the search section ON YOUR DASHBOARD with ‘MRTN’ as the keyword. Tell me, got any request for the next?

MUSIC ROARS THE NIGHT #11
i know i know, this supposed to be posted at night, just like its name MUSIC ROARS THE NIGHT, but you know me, i don’t like being organized.
so tonight’s music is something old actually but it describes the overall of my life. it’s Best I Ever Had by Vertical Horizon taken from their third album on 1999, Everything You Want. i told you this is one of the papa song right, but of course, not that papa.
when i said it describes my life, i mean it. i love my life just the way it is, unplanned and risky. enough said and enjoy the song, tell me the artist you wanna hear by message and you’ll hear it. the song is my choice, though.

So now it’s my ole favorite band, Good Charlotte! This is ‘Quit Your Life’, taken from their latest album, Cardiology. The song have something I really like and maybe after you read the lyrics or better, hear the song, you’ll see what I see in this song.
There’s another version of this song by MxPx, I haven’t done any research so I don’t know who sang this first. Anyway this supposed to be posted at night but I love surprises and this is my surprise!
ENJOY

Cool it’s been forever since the last time I posted MRTN and I kinda miss it. I know it’s not night time yet but hey it’s night time in some other part of the world. So now I’m doing it again, please welcome ‘Love You ‘Till the End’ by The Pogues. This is just just simply sweet! You gotta watch P.S. I Love You to know what I mean and that movie was just perfect that I can’t stop crying like a girly girl for two days.
Anyway The Pogues is a band with mixed Irish and British background. It formed at 1982 and that’s why I call it papa’s music because it is an old band, really really old. But hey you gotta hear it yourself it’s just great and and and don’t be too overdramatic before you hear the cover version sang by Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank, well you can hear it in the movie!
P.S. I regain my coolness back!
